The GBB tournament at Valley City has been postponed until Thursday. The higher seeds advance & the lower seeds will go directly to the consolation bracket. The Warbirds will play Warwick on Thurs 12/11 at 3:00 PM in the consolation bracket.

Lidgerwood PS will be two hours late on Wednesday, Nov 26. There will be no breakfast and buses will run where possible.

Due to deteriorating weather conditions, LPS will dismiss at 1:00 PM today. The JHGBB game against Sargent County is postponed TBA.

On this beautiful Veteran's Day, we want to thank all of our service men and women, including our very own head of maintenance at LPS, Kevin Bottchen. Kevin served our fine country in the Army. Thanks to Kevin and all veterans for their service!

Region 1 Volleyball Tournament Information

Lidgerwood Public School will be hosting a pep rally for our volleyball team on Friday at 2:45 PM in the gym. All students and staff in grades K–12 are invited to attend, as well as family and all Warbirds fans from the public. Let’s show our support and school spirit for the team as they head into postseason play!

With the ongoing government shutdown, we know that some families in our community may be feeling the impact. To help ensure everyone has the food they need, Lidgerwood Public School will be collecting both perishable and non-perishable food donations.
Donation Drop-Off:
School Office
Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Through Wednesday, November 5
Perishable Items: milk, cheese, yogurt, meat, etc
Non-Perishable Items: canned vegetables, canned meats, cereal, pasta, soup, etc.
Cash Donations:
Cash donations are also welcome and will be used to purchase groceries locally to support our families.
Families in need will have the opportunity to “shop” from the donated items during Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, November 6.
