Ciao! Some of our FFA students have been enjoying the summer in Italia! On Monday, June 22, Lidgerwood FFA students Michael Anderson, Damon Kaczynski, Ava Siemieniewski, Aaron Martinez and Tatum Stenson flew across the pond along with chaperones Jessica Martinez and Jeff Bjugstad for a fun educational experience. So far they have visited an underground freezer/refrigerator in Torino. The basement is filled with ice and cools all the stores' produce and meat in the Plaza. Molto figo! (Very cool!) Lidgerwood High School FFA students shined at the North Dakota State FFA Conference in Fargo this past week! LPS Juniors Damon Kaczynski, Hannah Tollefsrud and Tavin Woytassek along with sophomore Ava Siemieniewski, participated in the week-long conference held at North Dakota State University. These students also spent many hours beforehand preparing for the contest with LPS FFA Advisor, Jeff Bjugstad. Special congratulations to Hannah who earned an individual Gold in the Environmental and Natural Resources contest. We are proud of all of our FFA students!

Lidgerwood Public School is selling a used lawn tractor mower. The Snapper Rider Z (ZF2501KH) is a zero-turn out-front 25 HP mower. The mowing deck is 52 inches wide, and the mower has been used for a little over 1300 hours. The mower is in working order with the latest full maintenance appointment occurring in the Summer of 2024. This mower is being sold “as is”.
This is a sealed bid auction, interested individuals must submit their sealed bids to Jerry Arneson, LPS Business Manger, by the close date of Monday, June 8, 2026. Bids will be accepted via drop off/mail at Lidgerwood Public School, 28 3rd Ave Se, Lidgerwood ND 58053 or by email at jerry.arneson@k12.nd.us
