Dear Lidgerwood Public School Stakeholders,

Thank you for your feedback regarding our 2021-22 Return to Learn Plan. The Lidgerwood School Board and I took your thoughts and comments into account as we combed through the expired School Restart Plan. We left the overall structure of the plan in place but made a number of changes in our current/future operational procedures.

The Lidgerwood Public School Board has agreed to lift the masking mandate and return to our normal school operating procedures. The new LPS Return to Learn Plan will go into action on Monday, June 21, 2021. The Return to Learn Plan will be reviewed at minimum every six months.

As we begin to transition back to normalcy, we will all need to do our due diligence in tracking Covid-19 and staying up-to-date on the most current CDC and State/Local Health Policies. If Covid-19 cases begin to rise in our Lidgerwood Community, the Lidgerwood School Board will review the Return to Learn Plan and make changes as necessary. We will continue to strongly encourage unvaccinated individuals to wear a facial covering when in close proximity to individuals.

We thank you for your patience and understanding throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. We are looking forward to a great 2021-22 school year!

Sincerely,

Mr. Bastian, Superintendent
