Hello Lidgerwood Parents!

The holidays are fast approaching and we all have to make some big Covid related decisions. Do we or don’t we attend our once a year family gatherings? Are we going Trick-or-Treating? Should we buy that plane ticket? These decisions are major family decisions. The CDC has offered some guidance to help make these decisions a little easier:

Grades K-6 Parents, please watch for Halloween announcements and treat guidelines. Due to Covid concerns, we will not be allowing homemade treats into the building. Treats will either need to be store bought (and in individual packages) or students need to bring their own individual goody bag for themselves.

We appreciate your patience and flexibility. I would like to wish everyone Happy Holidays! I hope you will all be able to celebrate with your families as traditional as possible!

Mr. Bastian, Lidgerwood PS Superintendent

Dear Lidgerwood Public School Families,

Lidgerwood Public School is excited to announce that we will continue to provide a free breakfast and lunch to every K-12 Lidgerwood student at no charge! This is made possible by an extension of the summer emergency feeding program through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The free meals will be provided now through June 30, 2021!

The lunch funds that are currently in your child(ren)’s lunch account will remain in place and rolled over to the 2021-22 school year. Families are still encouraged to complete the Free and Reduced Meal Program applications. The Free and Reduced applications help drive our school district’s federal funding.

Thank you!
